The Good. The replacement of my motherboard has fixed my computer and it is now working like it should be and I love it. Over the weekend we got a ping pong table for the apartment and its awesome. Chad and I also went to the Gateway and I got myself a couple new pairs of shoes. I love Famous Footwear because I got two pairs of nice shoes for like $85. I used to get shoes that looked exactly the same and they were $110 alone. I should be getting promoted this week (cross your fingers). I’ve been waiting a for a while but we’ll see what happens.

The Bad. We got our router to work in our apartment finally but we’re having trouble figuring out how to put a password so that our neighbors won’t bum off it. Help would be appreciated.

The Ugly. I have UVU orientation on August 12th and luckily my parents are paying for the first 2 semesters. I’m not even going full time and tuition is a little under 2 grand, plus books. Hopefully this new promotion will allow me to pay for college without having to take out any loans. That would be nice.

So we called Dell again and they sent out a guy yesterday to put in a new motherboard. Its working normal now but we’ll see how long that lasts. Now that most of the major components of the computer have been replaced (memory, hard drive, motherboard) I can start working again.

I have to deal with Comcast now, they seem to have not done their job right the first time. A technician is coming out to fix our internet and give us a new modem. Sounds like Dell.

dell.jpgMy father and I bought me a new Dell XPS 1530 computer. It’s a nice computer that we paid a good $1400 dollars for. Unfortunately it wasn’t even 2 months from when I got it till it started having problems. I’m not sure what caused it but one day I booted it up and it gave me a blue screen telling me that I have a Memory Parity Error. Their XPS line is their “top” line of notebooks too, I might understand my experience coming from an Inspiron or something lessor, but not an XPS. So I thought, “ok whatever we’ll just get it fixed by Dell and everything will be normal”. But no, that didn’t really happen. We called them and they connected to my computer remotely and updated my BIOS and other drivers. After they did that the Parity Error was still there. We called again and they did some more stuff but it just kept coming back. Thinking that I just got some bad memory, we ditched the 2GB and upped it to 4GB. We completely replaced the memory and upgraded but still that stupid blue screen and message would come back. We called them and they suggested replacing the hard drive, so we said alright and Dell sent a technition out within a few days. It worked good after that for the first day, but still, that damn message would come up. I wish I had used my mom as an example because she has had 2 other Dell notebooks and they have all crapped out. I’m not sure of the reason on why hers were acting up but I wish I had gone with a MacBook Pro. It would have been worth the extra cost. I would suggest to anyone wanting a laptop, to AVOID DELL! Go with an HP or Sony, freak, get a Gateway, you’ll still be better off. I know that I will NEVER buy another Dell Notebook.

Thanks Dell, for selling me this worthless piece of crap, I really appreciate it. If I had money to buy another laptop, I’d post a video on YouTube like this one, at least Apple knows their wrongs and fixes the situation and gave him a new notebook.

dsc00417.JPGOn the 7th, Chad, Chad (aka Choch) and I got to move out of our homes and into our new apartment! We only moved like 2 miles away from home but I love PG so it works, and its closer to my work. The actual move in was kind of a pain in the butt because the cleaners that were supposed to be done with the apartment at 3, didn’t get done till 7, so we didn’t have as much time as we thought. Today, Comcast is coming out to set up our internet and cable so now we’ll have something to watch.

0705081813-00.jpg0705081810-01.jpgToday we all went and practiced our gangsta’ shooting out on the West side of Utah Lake. We brought a Ruger .45, a .357, a couple shotguns, and a .22 rifile. I’ve always wanted to shoot a handgun and they are so much harder than a shotgun. We brought some clay pigeons too and we had a good time shootin’ them up. Choch was probably the best since he goes out shooting alot. The handguns were really loud, way louder than the shotguns. We all acted pretty cool and shot our handguns sideways but they are really hard to aim. Even when you are shooting it normal, they are really really hard to keep stable because of it’s nasty recoil. All I know is that when a whitey comes up rollin’ in on his dubs, I’m gunna need some protection after I be done eyeballin’ his peice. Hopefully I won’t have to cap a sucka’. Haha… Ahhh, I’m so white.

fireworks.jpgThe 4th of July celebrations have come to an end this year. I got to go to two BBQ’s and then go to the Pleasant Grove fireworks show with Elishia, Chad, Choch and other members of Chad’s family. It was really good this year for a few reasons. 1) They held it at the PG Jr. High instead of the High School and 2) Well… perhaps I shouldn’t say. Haha. The fire department handed out little foam balls and footballs that we through around to pass the time that were pretty fun. Chad got a real football and was playing catch with his nephew till he accidentally hit a handicapped child in the face with it, breaking his glasses and giving him a bloody nose. You’re free to comment about how big of a D-bag he is in the comments section. The fireworks started shortly after that and went for probably 20 minutes or so. Afterward we packed up and went to my house where Chad and Choch played some Call of Duty and Elishia and I went for a scooter ride. I was in the neighborhood of an old friend so I stopped to say hello and chatted with his family for a bit. It was a fun night full of awkward moments (Choch & Kylie) and laughing.

I’d like to know how much it costs the city to put on a fireworks show every year. Its funny that they can shell out that kind of money for fireworks but they can’t pave a decent street. Freakin’ Danials.

234156.jpgA little bit ago my friend Haylee gave me this girl Kiarra’s number and told me to give her a text. I started texting her and quickly realized her and I had alot in common like… we both love Cocoa Krispies, Zoolander, BMW’s and alot of other stuff. After talking to her for a few days we decided to go out to eat yesterday so I took her to Tucano’s. It was excellent. She had never been there and was confused on how they do things so it was funny. We sat there and talked for a while because she had to be home at 7ish. With an hour left I drove around and I showed here where Chad, Choch and I will be moving into, and I also let her take a spin at driving my car because she’s never drivin a manual. She did really good too, she never even stalled it. Later that night Regen, Chad and I went and picked her up in Regens enourmous truck. That was fun because its fast and really loud. We went back to PG and I took her on a scooter ride and we all met back at my house because Chad and Regen wanted to play Call of Duty. It was a good time, I really really enjoyed it ;) haha

manti-temple.jpgYesterday I got the opportunity to drive down to Manti with Chad and his parents to go to the Mormon Miracle Pageant. It was alot of fun, the drive down there took a while but Mitch and Terri kept us entertained with some of their stories. When we got there we still had a few hours before it started so we went and got food at this little stand that they had up. When you walk towards the Temple and to the seats, your engulfed with these people trying to tell you that what you’ve been told you whole life is a lie. Thats OK though because its easy to just shrug them off and not care to much about what they’re saying. Then when we were just walking around you notice the LDS people that get into a little “spiritual deathmatch” trying to prove each other wrong. I don’t know why the protesters bother showing up, all they do is anger people, I can’t imagine them actually converting someone to their religion. One of the parts that stood out to me was a little stunt the FLDS pulled by having 34 or so women walk single-file, around and through the crowds with signs hanging from their neck saying which number wife they were to Joseph Smith, what their story was, and how old they were. Then they lined up in front of the entrance of the pageant so people would notice. The next part that amazes me is the immaturity of both LDS and all the other faiths that were there. We were walking through the crowd and noticed this guy with a yellow manti.jpgshirt on, preaching about the lies the LDS religion teaches. He was very energetic, and very loud. He knew how to draw attention to himself and he did just that. People were circled all around him asking him questions that he would only partly answer, or completely ignore. Then when he would try to prove his point or to get support, instead of asking someone he knew was LDS, he asks his supporters that were mixed into the crowd. Chad and I were making comments about how this guy was embarrassing himself unaware that some older guy was by us evesdropping. This guy turns around and starts questioning us about what this guy is doing wrong and why I would mock him, when somewhere in the scriptures states to not mock. I just manti2.jpgshook my head and laughed, because honestly, I just don’t care. Then we looked back into the “religious moshpit” and noticed a LDS guy was walking around with the preacher imitating him, and making a scene that attracted attention from his supporters. The other faith’s quickly jumped in to hinder the LDS man from interrupting the preacher. Isn’t what that what the protesters are doing to our pageant? The LDS guy did make an idiot out of himself but had no intention to harm anyone, but the local Police didn’t think so. In the beginning when he jumped in to start his imitation, the police quickly came over and watched to see if anything would happen. In my opinion, when you have to have Police come to religious events, I think there might be a problem. Both sides acted pretty ridiculous and immature. The other faiths would have nothing to say, nothing to do if we didn’t listen to them. Everyone should’ve just ignored them, and gone on Temple grounds to eat or sit.

The actual Mormon Miracle Pageant was pretty good, I’ve never seen it before. I don’t know if I’d go again because of how both sides acted towards each other, but its always good to experience it I guess. I’m just surprised there wasn’t a fight.

It’s time for something new, something exciting. Chad, Choch and I will be moving out July 7th so thats pretty new and exciting. I’m changing my website, that’s new and exciting. Probably the newest, and most um… excitingest thing of all, is that I am getting promoted soon. I’ve worked hard for it and have come a long, long way since last November. You can’t say I haven’t Bryan.

If you have anything else that is new or exciting, please share…

I got some more pictures from my graduation that you all can take a look at. Everyone except Lindsay, Jon, Marcee and Kiersten is in the pictures. Chad was also included in the family pictures since he just about is family. The awesome necklace thing that I’m wearing was a gift from Camille. I wish her and her parents would have stuck around because I would have liked a picture with Karen & Corndog! O’well though. Enjoy the pictures. Oh and the reason why Chad is blurry in the picture of him and I is because I was hitting him in the cash ‘n prizes. Also seen here.
